Since 1992, STAGEStheatre has been consistently entertaining Orange County audiences with ground-breaking, poignant, heart-wrenching, thought-provoking, laugh-out-loud, good-time, old-school theater, making us not only the longest running storefront theatre in the county, but also one of the most eclectic anywhere.
With carefully selected offerings, STAGEStheatre has a little something for everyone built into every season we produce. Having originally been built from the ground up almost exclusively by the work of local playwrights, STAGEStheatre has built a reputation that is unmatched in local Orange County theater history. On any given weekend you can be entertained by anything from a classic comedy, a world-premier original, a Broadway musical or a late-night sketch comedy show.
STAGEStheatre is known for providing quality productions with outstanding, award-winning performances at affordable prices and is within walking distance of Fullerton’s beautiful downtown area featuring many exciting restaurants and nightclubs. STAGEStheatre is an intimate 60 seat theatre with ample, free parking located right outside the theater, is handicapped accessible and air-conditioned. And the best part is we’re open almost every weekend!
OUR MISSION
STAGEStheatre is an entity that is consistently evolving to provide actors, directors, writers, designers, and artists with a creative environment that offers an eclectic and challenging variety of theatrical opportunities at all “stages” of the process. STAGEStheatre presents every form of theatrical literature, from the classics to world premieres. STAGEStheatre endeavors to merge each literary work with the highest production values and the most passionate performances possible.
As a non-profit organization, STAGEStheatre strives to promote appreciation for the theatrical arts by reaching out to our community and by working with local schools and organizations to provide unique educational opportunities and internships for student artists and technicians. STAGEStheatre’s stage is always open for members of the community to become actively involved in theatre

STAGEStheatre will continue to produce quality entertainment that is thought provoking, escape providing and passion producing, while creating educational opportunities to expand into outreach programs for young students, increase our talent base through actively pursuing and cultivating local talent, as we evolve and grow to accommodate our audiences’ increasing numbers.
